She was predeceased by : her father Francisco Acevedo. She is survived by : her husband Billy E. Smith; her children, Rachel Petrovich (Jason), Christopher Smith (Anna), Billy Joe Smith (Kim), Chris Smith (Marlene) and Cecil B. Samaripa IV (Marlene); her mother Belia Perez Gonzales; and her siblings, Frank Acevedo II, Bonnie DeLaCruz, Christopher Acevedo (Thelma), Betty Casillas (Jamie), Pete Acevedo, Mario Castorena, Patricia Arrizola, Julie Ayala, Melissa Castorena, Connie Mejorado, David Acevedo and Ruthie Teyuca. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
