He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Bollinger and Viola Frances Perkins; his brothers, Robert Chesser and Delter Chesser; and his daughter Melissa Bollinger.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bollinger; his children, Michele Bollinger and Jason Bollinger; his grandchildren, Kody Ellis (Beth), Courtney Young (Austin) and Dillon Ellis; his great grandchildren, Avery Ellis, Connor Ellis and Koah Young; and his brothers, Walter Bollinger (Susan) and Albert Goldsmith (Janas). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
