He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Joe" White and Mildred "Lessie" White; his wife Yvonne White; his sons, Martin "Marty" White (Tracy) and Donnie White (Jaqueline); his stepchildren, Charmaine Ferguson, Nikki Louden (James), Sean Ferguson (Rachel), Lisa Shelton (Oliver) and Wayne Ferguson (Heather); his grandchildren, Dhayne, Joseph "Joey", Braxton, Carrington, Savannah and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Sloane, Isla and Benjamin.
He lived through some of the most defining events of the 20th and early 21st centuries — World War II, the Civil Rights Movement, the moon landing, the Vietnam War, the rise of the internet, the COVID-19 pandemic, and so much more.
