He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Pierce Sorrells and Waldine Valaska Patton; and his son-in-law Kevin McElroy. He is survived by: his wife Martha Kay Sorrells; his son Jeff Sorrells (Kittie); his grandson Benjamin (Kortnie); his sons, Tyler and Brad Sorrells (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Lacey and Leah; his daughter Beth McElroy; his grandchildren, Kayleigh and Addison; and his siblings, Bill Sorrells (Linda) and Betty George (Cecil).
