She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul "Mose" Herman and Norma Hilda Mueller; and her brother Kenneth. She is survived by: her husband Richard Allan Schauer; her son Justin Ryan "Gus" Schauer; her granddaughter Carys Lee Schauer; her sister-in-law Kathleen Malkowsky Mueller; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Mueller, Kimberly Olson (Aaron), Dean, Marian, Paula Garcia (Matt) and Michael.
