He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Robert Aydelotte and Erleen Aydelotte (Morhain). He is survived by: his wife Belva C. Aydelotte; his daughter Jean Hare (Chris); his grandchildren, Charlotte Hare and Michael Hare; and his siblings, Rebecca Laird (Charles), Carl Aydelotte, Katherine Wickersham (David) and Caroline Korn (Shane).
His family requests that in lieu of flowers, gifts honoring his memory be made to either: ALS.org which was a valuable resource to Robert as he navigated his illness, the Cuenca Mercy Project through Robert's church, Trinity Vineyard of Cypress, TX., or the Prison Alpha Programs out of Grace Fellowship Church of Katy, TX.
