He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Benfer and Velora Kleb Benfer; his wife Donna Benfer; his brother Arthur Lee Benfer; his parents-in-law, Elbert and Jeanne Crofford; and his brother-in-law Tyson Birdwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Vann (Glenn); his grandchildren, Kelsie and Kamren; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Benfer, Brenda, Reggie Thomson, Carol, David Powell, Gary and Sloan Crofford; and his extended family Barbara Benfer. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
