It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Wayne Hamner of Trent, Texas, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Billy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Billy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel (1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trent Church of Christ (201 N Birch St, Trent, TX 79561).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Trent Cemetery Fund or a charity of choice.
