He is survived by: his wife Iris Alaniz; his children, Anna Marta Gos (Lukasz) of Poland, Pamela Mitschke (Nikolas) of Germany, Alex Bernstorff (Lynn) of Germany and Maximilian Bernstorff (Luisa) of Germany; and his siblings, Elva Alaniz, Armando Alaniz (Laura), Orlando Alaniz (Melissa), Marilain Brown (Vince) and Rolando Alaniz (Christina).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville (1700 Normal Park Dr, Huntsville, TX 77340). A rosary will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (401 Prospect Dr, Trinity, TX 75802).
