She is survived by: her husband Elton Bruce Nixon, Sr.; her children, Melissa Cole (Clint Wilson), Brittaney Cassidy (Stephen), James Robert Nixon and Elton Bruce Nixon, Jr. (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Cody Nixon, Zachary Nixon, Emily Taylor, Aaron Nixon, Delana Nixon, Donnie Nixon, Savannah Nixon, Evan Ballew, Jake Cole, Hayden Cassidy, Hunter Cassidy, Sean Nixon, Ethan Nixon and Justine-Todd Marsh; and her sister-in-law Patricia Nixon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many loving friends and coworkers.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Huntsville (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Farris Cemetery (1771 FM 1791, Richards, TX 77873).
