He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Eugene Davis and Wanda Lou Hickman Chance; his wife Kathy Mackey; his stepfather Jerry Chance; his grandparents, Harvey, Dovie Hickman, Clarence A. and Bessie Davis; his grandson Christopher Michael Mackey, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Stanson Raye McFairen.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Kemmler (Adam) of Milton, Florida, Christopher Mackey (Angel) of Koppell, Texas, Jeffrey Mackey (Amy) of Trinity, Texas and Amberlie Falk (Harold Christpher) of Koppell, Texas.; his sisters, Nancy Issac (Don) of Shephard and Diane McFairen of Shephard, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Katlynn, Michael, Azhia, Easton Ray Mackey, Christian, Harold Jame-Lee, Everett Hill, Faith Falk, Annalissa, Aleigh, Colt, Jesse, Lee, Natalie Stansberry Mackey, Kendra, Bentley and Grayson Kemmler.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Trinity (203 San Jacinto St, Trinity, TX 75862).
