He is survived by: his wife Karon; his sons, Marcus Skains (Britteny), Mathew Skains (Courtney) and Linville Wayne Shipman; his grandchildren, Brianna, Layne, Luke, Ashlynn and Kaelynn; his great grandchild Charlotte; his siblings, John Shipman of Florida, Villa Shipman Rogers (Graham) of Jones Creek and Larry Shipman (Maria) of New York; his sister-in-law Kathy Perry; his close friend Sandy Beeson (Garvin); his sister-in-law Pat Powell; April Thompson.
