He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Galan; his children, Patricia Allen (Wesley Allen), Patrick J. Galan, Jr., Deawn Renee Appelgate (Robert Appelgate), Kimberly Yvette Galan and Jason Galan (Jennifer Galan); his grandchildren, John Douglas Allen (Gloria Allen), Kaitlyn Nicole Allen and Robert Austin Appelgate (Amanda Appelgate); his children, Tyler Michael Appelgate (Lalita Appelgate), Cody Seth Appelgate, Mason Dylan Appelgate, Tori Anne Mathis (Keith Mathis), Haylee Kash Mills, Emily Grace Galan and Molly Nell Galan; his great grandchild Owen Wade Allen; and his siblings, Karen Elizabeth Blakely, Rose Annette Galan, Gregory Anthony Galan (Joan) and Timothy Mark Galan (Kim). He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Brookside Memorial Cemetery (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
