She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hamilton and Gloria McDowell Hamilton; her husband Ronald Bennett; her son Brandon Bennett; her great grandchild Daylyn Coggins; her grandparents, Joe, Maud Hamilton, Richard and Lois McDowell; her niece Keri Kee Sanders; and her nephew Jeremy Silvey.

She is survived by: her son Joshua Bennett (Lisa) of Frankston; her siblings, Kathy Kee (Larry) of Troup, Teri Adair (Craig) of Chandler, Melissa Silvey of Chandler and Joe Hamilton (Kathy) of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Frank Zator (Jelissa) and JP Zator (Gina); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Travis, Trevor, Landyn, Kingston and Nash; and her pet Remi Rose. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Barbara's honor to the charity of your choice, continuing her lifelong example of generosity and compassion.
