He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alan Brown and Laura Helen Robeson Brown; his wife Molly Brown; and his brother Hunter Schmidt Jr. Roy. He is survived by: his children, Ben Alan Brown (Kristen) and Beth Ann Walser (Mike); and his brother Gerald Schmidt (Laura).
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Griffin Cemetery (1609 Co Rd 4716, Troup, TX 75789).
