He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman E. Howell and Claudia Irene Howell (Collins); his wife Connie; his children, Brad Eaton, Bobby Eaton and Theresa Eaton; and his grandsons, Garrett Eaton and Wyatt Coker.

He is survived by : his daughter Tina Eaton; his grandchildren, Brandon Walker, Vincent Eaton, Ashby Eaton, Hunter Eaton, Zander Eaton, Logan Eaton, Amanda Eaton and Bradlyn Eaton; and his brother Jackie Howell (Sue) of Temple.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the Bellwood Memorial Park (8575 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76502).
