She is survived by: her adoptive children, Sharolyn "Shar" Flippo (Bob) of Uhland, Emerson Willis of Washington, Shelia Willis-Reeves of Temple, Wendy Willis-Brown, Mundo Melendez of Temple and Denise Erwin (Brad) of Wimberley; her close friend Helen Willis of Temple; and her siblings, Delores Owens of Troy, Sharon Yenger (Joe) of Brenham and Johnny "Bubba" Owens (Sandy) of Temple. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
