He is survived by : his son Jon; his daughter-in-law Shelly; his brothers, Ricky Howard of Plainview and Rodney Howard (Celeste) of Tulia; his grandchildren, Amber (Zach Taylor), Alex and Anabel Howard; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Lillian and Karl Taylor.
