He is survived by : his spouse Sharrion Keen; his children, Steve Suber (Janie) of Post, Krystal Phillips (Mike) of Plainview, Jenna Malone (Chad) of Lubbock, Jessie Sims of Levelland and Devin Sims of Plainview; his brother Leon Sims (Wilma) of Kingsland; his sister-in-law Edith Sims of Plainview; and his grandchildren, Martin Melendrez, Dora Bishop, Madeline, Cade Phillips, Alpha, Megan, Oaklyn, Irelyn Malone and Wyatt Sims. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
