It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corine McDowell (Tulia, Texas), born in Spur, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fon Shaw and Vivian Shaw; and her siblings, Gustine Beaver, Cliff Shaw, Tommy Shaw, Darrell Shaw, Carl Shaw and Donnie Shaw Marie Byrd.
She is survived by : her husband Bill McDowell; her children, Joe McDowell of Tulia and Donna Sanchez (David) of Kress; her stepdaughter Frankie Burress of Pittsburg; and her siblings, Dean Shaw of Slaton, Dennis Shaw of Aspermont, Lillie Mae Davis of Spur and Flora Lee Nixon of Vega. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.
