She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Contreras and Leticia Contreras. She is survived by: her husband Joe Castillo; her children, Shawn Castillo and Evelyn Myers; her son-in-law Heath of Martinsville, IN; and her siblings, Frances Howell (Matt), Eubie McCrary and Reyes Contreras (Shannon).
