She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Johnson and Ora Nellie Johnson; her husband Robert "Bobby" Hurt; her daughter LaTonya Ann Anderson; and her siblings, Lorene Sanders, Betty Hurt and Larry Wayne Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister Gwen Mays of Kingston. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
