With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kavin L'Carl Powell in Tulia, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Dora White, Elizabeth Yarbrough and Mae Lou Hendrix; and his brother Clifton Hendrix. He is survived by: the mother of his children Porsche Hollings; his children, Kavin Jr., Ka'liana and Ka'dion; his mother Barbara; and his siblings, Robert, Tynisha, Brendon, James, Jacob, Z'aida, Zai'brien, Tatianna, Marcus, Quincy, Lucas, Jimietria Hendrix, Reggie Hendrix, Lawrence Hendrix and Billy Joe Kelly. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be performed in his memory—helping someone in need, just as he always did.
