He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Pond; his father-in-law Jerry Watts; and his brother Dale Pond. He is survived by: his wife Kim Pond of Tulia; his children, Wil Pond (Tara) of Plainview, Jerry Daniel Pond of Amarillo, TX, Steffanee Vargas (Tim) of Tulia, TX and Jeffrey Pond (Delaney) of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Elliott, Charlie Pond of Plainview, TX, Severin, Tauren, Millie Kate and Kit Vargas of Tulia, TX.; his siblings, Stanley Pond (Mary), Don Pond (Tammie) and Sandy Gillett (Mike); his sister-in-law Judy Pond; his mother-in-law Carolyn Watts; and his brother-in-law Jeff Watts (Anne). He is also survived by wife, four children and their spouses, and his grandchildren are immensely proud of their Pops.
