It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Petra A Vasquez (Tuscola, Texas), born in Elgin, Texas, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Vasquez (Simona Avalos) and Antonio Vasquez; her daughter Maria Louisa Rodriguez; and her granddaughter Becky Suniga-Hernandez (Miguel). She is survived by : her children, Virginia Ochoa (Richard) of Lawn, Lupe Rodriguez of Lawn, Anita Vasquez of Abilene, Rosalinda Rojo (Ciriaco) of Miles, Antonio Jr. (Belia) of Tyler and Gilbert of Lawn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and beloved extended family.

In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to her favorite charity, St. Judes Children Hospital.
