He is survived by: his wife Maria Rosa Torres of Malacara; his children, Susana Malacara (Fredy Solarte), Moyses Malacara (Matilde Chavez Mendoza) and Alfonso Malacara, Jr. (Arcadia Zavala); his grandchildren, Enrique Ivan Malacara, Diego Alfonso Malacara, Yasmin Malacara, Abraham Malacara Chavez, Jayden F. Solarte, Lianna I. Solarte and Eileen S. Solarte; and his sister Hortencia Torres.
