He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Reid and Gladys Reid; his brothers, Ronald Reid, Donald Reid and Jerry Reid; his son Bryan Reid (Stephen Reid); and his grandson Tyler Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Reid; his daughter Kimberly Hart; his daughter-in-law Michelle Reid (Lisa Reid); and his granddaughters, Audra Lilly Reid, Sydney Reid and Isabella Hart.
