Barry Joe Horton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Joe Horton of Tyler, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Bailey Horton and Arthur F. Horton (Chase). He is survived by: his children, BJ Horton (Amanda) and Chase Horton (Pati); his grandchildren, Trey and Emaline; his former wife Anita Overhouse (Jeff); his brother Hal Horton (Arlene); and his sibling's children, Sheila Barrett (Carl) and Art Horton (Kim). He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (511 Ross Graves Dr, Timpson, TX 75975). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
