He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herrington and Minnie Haire Herrington; his daughter Penni Herrington Milliff; and his siblings, Charlie, Jean, Louise and Ellen.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Fortner Herrington; his sons, Bill "BJ" Herrington and Bobby Herrington (Jill); his sister Ann Kimrey; his brother-in-law Jim Fortner (Pat); his grandchildren, Amanda Milliff, Dr. Kimberly Milliff, Hannah Evans (Josh), Grant Herrington (Samantha) and Emma Herrington; his great grandchildren, Kyndall Milliff, Evolet Innerarity and Briggs Herrington; and his sister-in-law Betty Swearingen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
