He was predeceased by: his father Jewell McCarthy, Jr.; his spouse Terrie Bowen; and his brother Aundrey McCarthy. He is survived by: his mother Laurice Williamson; his children, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Tai'Yonna McCarthy; his siblings, Mhonesia Williamson, Nathan Williamson, Jadariun McCarthy, Kenyan McCarthy, Sandra Pipkin and Barbara Blackman; his aunts and uncles, Evelyn Williams, Angela Weathers, Patricia Starling, Helen Witts, Debbie Taylor, Carolyn Bowen, Larry Williams, Jobie McCarthy, James Young and Billy Weathers; and his great-aunt Alyce Booty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (102 E Cotton St, Carthage, TX 75633).
