It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Murphy Davis (Tyler, Texas), born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Squire E. Davis and Clara Davis; his siblings, Squire E. Davis Jr. and Hess McCrary; his nephews, Randy Meadows and Jeff Davis; and his niece Patricia Garvin.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Meadows Davis; his son Terry W. Davis (Janeye); his grandsons, Brandon (Lori Davis) and Damon (Tami Davis); his siblings, Earlene Lattimer and Kirk; his sister-in-law Barbara Meadows; his great grandchildren, Emaleigh Nicole Davis, Cason Murphy Davis, Cole Michael Davis and Grayson Lane Davis; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Roberts, Rip Duncan, Sue Chamness, Delane Capps, Wanda Hogan, William Davis and Pam Starkey.
