She was predeceased by: her parents, Donley Winegar and Sadie Wheatley Winegar; her husband Edwin Mickel; and her daughter Debbie. She is survived by: her son Kenneth Garrett. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lloyd James Funeral Home (1011 E 1st St, Tyler, TX 75701). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery (3825 Airport Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910).
