She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Birdwell and Marguerite Johnson Birdwell; her husband Glen Sampson; and her siblings, Shirley Smelley, Ruby Mullican, Freddie Gene Birdwell and Jerry Glen Birdwell.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Sampson (Kristi) of Tyler, Greg Sampson (Stephanie) of Overton and Bradly Sampson of Troup; her grandchildren, Michael Sampson (Kiya), Alexandra Housley (Chris), Danielle Basilone (Jonathan), Natalie Sampson, Dillon Sampson (Courtney) and Savannah Sampson; and her great grandchildren, Lillian, Anthony, Lino, Gage, Camden and Carter.
