He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; and his sons, Ralph and Bruce. He is also survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter in-law, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Hospice of East Texas/Palliative.
