She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Lee Roberts Hays and Nathan Herman Hays; and her half-brothers, Charles, Buddy and Tommy Ryan.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Stokes; her son Walter Stokes, Jr. (Michele Finnin Stokes) of Tyler; and her granddaughter Taylor Stokes of Charlotte, NC..
