He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Johnson Poston; his children, William Hill and Cindy Hill Smith; his parents, Arthur Eugene Poston and Nillie May Greene Poston; and his siblings, John Lee Poston, Jesse Eugene Poston, Billy Joe Poston, Jerry Ray Poston, Dorothy Louise Poston, Frances Humphrey and Pat Tidball.
He is survived by: his son Todd Hill; and his grandchildren, William Hill, Delia Jackson, Joe Smith, Lizzy Kimbrell, Markus Castillo and Cody Hill. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ash Cemetery.
