He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Hightower and Virgie Hightower; his wife Margaret Necessary Hightower; and his siblings, Cloyes, Douglas, Aubrey Hightower and Norma Jo McCauley.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Hightower (Jane) of Tyler; his granddaughters, Christy Nall (Austin) of Dripping Springs and Kimberly Fender (Bailey) of Tyler; his great grandchildren, Madison Nall, Hadley and Emelia Fender; and his siblings, Donald Hightower (Sally) and Darlene Hightower Fitzhenry (Bill). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
