He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernie and Margarite Smith. He is survived by: his family Jesus; his wife Joy Faye Brown; his children, Joyce Estes of Van Alstyne, TX and Edwin Smith, Jr. (Trudy); his brother Irwin Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; his grandchildren, Chalise Freitag (Derek) of Monument, CO and Cody Estes (Ashlyn) of Van Alstyne, TX; and his great grandchildren, Madyson, Isabella, Adeli, Boone, Blayne, Aubrey and Denver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
