Emogene Taylor Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emogene Taylor of Tyler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emogene Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Marvin and Essie Lee Venable Killingsworth, Sr.; her sister Jo Delle Magers; her siblings-in-law, Raymond Magers, Dalton Durham, Dee Nutt, Jerry Chapman, Jerry S. Taylor and Patsy Ruth Taylor (Norene Killingsworth); and her sibling's children, Keith Durham, Ray Max Magers, Marvin Glen Killingsworth and Diana Magers.

She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Marion Taylor, Jr.; her son Thomas Brent Taylor (Beverly) of Tyler; her grandchildren, Thomas Aaron Taylor (Natasha) of Denver and Melanie Michale Taylor (Katheryn Walker); her stepgrandson Keith Tijerina (Angie); and her siblings, Bishop Marvin Killingsworth, Jr. of Athens, Shirley Nutt and Peggy Chapman of Tyler.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donation in Emogene's honor be made to the East Texas Food Bank 3201 Robertson Rd. Tyler, Texas 75701.
