He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Lee Cunningham and Pansy Lively (Barrett). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Ann Cunningham (Gore); his children, Mary Russell (Rick Patch), Christine Cunningham (Thomas Horgan), Trista Granberry (Jeff) and Jeremy Ashley (Christina); and his granddaughters, Reagan Russell, Kaylee Sullivan, Maddie Wagner and Savannah Wagner.
