She was predeceased by: her parents, Buck Freeman and Ruth Freeman; her husband Charles Gideon; her son Michael Gideon; her grandson Ryan Whitting; her son-in-law Dennis Willmon; and her siblings, Jackie Clayton, Billie Bailey, Jane Bland, Alice Nell Freeman and Weldon Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Gideon of Tyler, Diane Willmon (Joey) and Sue Whitting (Ross) of Whitehouse. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
