We are sad to announce that, on October 12, 2022, at the age of 89, John Leonard Johnson of Tyler, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Benjamin Johnson and Loretta Ahern Johnson; and his siblings, Mickey Johnson (Emma Jean), Howard Johnson (Marie) and Raymond Johnson (Rosemary Johnson).
He is survived by: his wife Adele Bacile Johnson; his sons, Tony Johnson (Deborah) of Arlington, TX and Mark Johnson (Billie) of Coppell, TX.; his grandson Ryan Johnson of Irving, TX.; his siblings, Eugene Johnson, Janet Johnson, Kenneth Johnson (Marilyn) and Michael Johnson (JoAnn); and his sister-in-law JoAnn Johnson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Tyler Catholic School Foundation – John and Adele Johnson Scholarship or the charity of your choice.
