It is with sadness that the passing of John Wesley Cunningham in Tyler, Texas is shared. John Wesley, born on May 16, 1947, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Franklin and Willie Dell Cunningham (Johnson); and his brother Charles Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cunningham of Hideaway; his daughters, Lesley Hartmann of Whitehouse and Lori Kay Minyard (Nickey) of Starrville; his siblings, Richard Cunningham (Barbara) of Frisco and Terry Pat Cunningham of Little Elm; his grandchildren, Zachary Hartmann, Ethan Hartmann (Bella), Hayden Lowry (Courtney), Hunter Lowry (Natalie), Chevy Minyard and Mattie Minyard; and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Saylor and Brentlee Lowry. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
