He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Evenstad and Rozella Evenstad. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Evenstad of Tyler, TX; his stepchildren, John Allen of Jacksonville, FL, Scott Fox of Fairfield, TX and Kendra Shahan of Bullard, TX; his stepgrandchildren, Wynona, Nate, Cassidy, Emma and Christian; his siblings, Ed (Debbie) of Northwood, ND, Greg (Joan) of Glenwood, MD, Rosanne (Ulic) of Britton, SD, Jane (Tom) of Northwood, ND, Robert (Vicky) of Eagle River, AK, Norman (Gwen) of Sandy, UT and Vina (Lee) of North Bend, WA; his godchildren, Breanna and Tony; Cameron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Northwood Public School – Athletic Department, 420 Trojan Road, Northwood, ND 58267.
