She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Clark and Bessie Clark; her husband Roland Higginbotham, Sr.; her siblings, D. Hobbie, Frank, Chester, Otis Ray, Roy Don, Dorotha, Bobbie and Jo; and her granddaughters, Courtney Higginbotham Boudreaux and Amy Nacole Higginbotham.
She is survived by: her sons, Roland Higginbotham Jr. (Theresa) and Kenneth Higginbotham (Kristy); and her grandchildren, Natalie Higginbotham Battles (Johnny), Ashley Higginbotham Kilsby and Westin Higginbotham (Danielle). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's memory to Hospice of East Texas.
