He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eleanor Smith and Averyt Smith; his wife Sharon of Tyler; his children, Rachel Howard (Chris Richardson) of Denton and Scott Herod (Misty) of Tyler; his grandson Brandon Howard (Amanda) of Whitehouse; his children, Landon, Kate and Winnie Herod of Tyler; his sister Debbie Fromm (Dick Fromm) of Midlothian; his nieces, Heidi Fromm, Amy Clark of Midlothian and Judi Bagwell of Houston; and his friend Jannet Allen of Dawsonville Ga. He was also cherished by 5 great grandchildren, cousins and extended family.
