He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis A. Pope and Ruby Pope (Trail); his wife Sandra Pope; his sister Irene Pope Michael; and his nephews, Derrek A. Emmerson PhD and Kevin J. Earp JD.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Pope (Leigh) of Ohio, Cynthia Adams (Kenneth) of Frankston and Christopher Pope (Becky) of New Zealand; his sister Janet Emerson (Derrel) of Georgia; his sisters-in-law, Sally Niezgoda (Gary) of West Virginia and Bonnie Snyder Earp of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Rachael, Lianna, Emma-Leigh, Catherine, Marian, Taylor, Kennie, Zachery, Brianna and Caleb.
