He was predeceased by: his parent Adeline Leifer; his parents-in-law, Ellen Ellett and James "Sonny" Ellett; and his nephew Wayne Kesecker. He is survived by: his wife Claire Leifer; his children, Lori Boatwright, Cody Leifer (Leah) and Libby Leifer; his grandchildren, Lily Leifer, Cecilia Leifer and Mason Ferguson; his brother Mark Leifer; his siblings-in-law, Sue Green and Jamie Ellett; and his nephew Ty Green (Jordan).
