He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blahnik and Elsie Blahnik; and his brother-in-law Henri Van Hende. He is survived by: his children, David Blahnik, Dawn Blahnik Barthel, Allison Blahnik and Colleen Blahnik Rubin; his grandchildren, Alex, Austin Barthel and Lillian Mae Schlegel; and his siblings, Thomas Blahnik (Yun), Judy Van Hende, Suzanne Goff (Chris), Walter Blahnik (Connie) and Ann Zell (Robert). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
