He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Priscilla Sanford and Joseph Luther Sanford; and his sister Sharon Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Laura Sanford; his daughter Kristi Ecord (Clint Ecord); his grandchildren, Grant, Jacob and Katy; his daughter Kayla Peurifoy (Drew Peurifoy); his grandchildren, Cassondra, Adler, Nicholas, Ardyn and Allison; and his sister Gayle Lyons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
